great bikini "trimmer"
I think some of the past reviewers were confused when they purchased this item and didn't notice that it says "trimmer" in the name. This trimmer will not get you shaved smooth, but will trim your hair down relatively short. It allows you to chose what length you want your bikini area hair to be. It works great! I would recommend this product for any male or female who wants to trim their pubic areas. It is easy to use and painfree.If you are looking for a product that will remove all of the hair I highly suggest the Braun 2370 Silk-epil EverSoft Body System. Great little trimmer!
This trimmer is sure to keep your lower pubic area neat and tidy! You can adjust the length, so you have control of how much you trim and how much you keep. It doesn't get you completely bald down there, but since I had read the reviews before purchasing this product I wasn't expecting it to. -For that I would suggest some Skintimate shaving cream and a Mach 3 razor. Oh, and some Bikini Zone as well. I personally prefer to just have mine neat and in order instead of completely shaved and so far this trimmer has kept me from having to deal with razor bumps. Another plus is that it comes with a form showing you how you can order more parts if you need to. The top is adjustable and can come off for shaping up the edges and then it resembles regular hair clippers. (I didn't know about that until I had received it.) Anyway, if you lose that top part or drop it and accidentally step on it or something, you're gonna wanna replace just that part instead of the whole trimmer. It's a little... Top to learn more

Fan-fricking-tastic!
I'm a woman who likes to stay, how shall I say it?, reletively "tidy." As much as I love staying shorn and bare, I absolutely hate shaving "down there" with a razor -- and as for a Brazillian wax? NO WAY. That's where this little trimmer comes in. It's absolutely ideal for cropping hair relatively close to the skin, and the narrow blade width allows me to get all those delicate nooks and crannies. I have been waxing for years, and it does take years to realllllly get down the art of waxing yourself. I have tried a large number of waxes.....from cold to hot, and have found that Nair Microwavable Wax, is a complete package with everything you need to perform the job. It heats up the easiest, cools down the slowest, takes the most hair off, and being water soluble is the easiest to get rid of that sticky feeling you are left with after waxing, as well as being able to get it off of anything you may drip it on......oh, and it smells yummy !! I was lost, trying to find it in stores (and I am down to two boxes of it, I had found on sale years ago and luckily bought about 7 of them !!)....before I ran out and didnt have any to use, I checked here, and not only found it, but at a FANTASTIC price. They are $10.50 plus s/h for one box on the Nair website, and here I paid about $15 for two boxes, with free shipping, having it sent regularly. The good part about waxing, is that it comes...

It took a lot of guts to buy this after reading some of the one and two star writer reviews. However, after years of suffering from wax burns and irritated skin from every other form of removal...and because I could never hope to get the job done with teezers...I was willing to give it a try especially after seeing it in Oprah's favorite finds list.I almost rated it 4 stars because it is tricky to figure out how to use it but felt it deserved a 5 because it gets the job done.The second I found the REM in my mailbox, I ripped it out of the package (it was 11PM when I got my mail) and proceeded to experiment for the next hour and a half.Since then, I've ravaged my entire face, removing all of my man hair and some! I had spots above my eyebrows, on my cheeks, jaw line, unibrow, chin, under my ears--alllllll over the place! The coils grab onto my facial hair and rip, it's gone. I will continue to use it because it really does work. the chin and cheeks hurt less than that super sensitive area under the nose, that is a killer! But it's worth it to be hair free for awhile, especially for those of us who have a lot of embarrassing facial hair and don't want 5 o'clock stubble or red wax burn or to take hours in front of a mirror plucking.*edited, within a day it began to hurt less and boy does it work! You have to experiment to get it to work but it does work very well
I ordered this because I read about it in Oprah's O Magazine and they loved it. When I received it, I read the directions and even went to the REM website and watched a video of how to use it, but I couldn't get it to work for me. I almost gave up and thought about tossing it, but then I decided to experiment since there were other people who liked it.Here's what worked:1.) You don't necessarily have to bend the spring into a tight U shape as shown in the pictures (you can also use it bent just a little into a wide rounded U shape).2.) Lay the spring against your skin just below where you want to remove the hair.3.) As you slowly move the spring upward, twirl the right hand fingers clockwise and the left hand fingers counter-clockwise. If you twirl them the opposite way, no hairs get grabbed (this was the main thing I needed to figure out and the instructions didn't explain it).4.) Best hair remover ever.
I finally bought this from Amazon... I had been buying it at Sprouts for twice the price. I love love love this stuff! I hate getting bikini waxed at a spa so decided to try doing it myself. This wax makes it possible. Still hurts, but comes off cleanly and there are oils for before and after (very soothing). I have sensitive skin and have never had a problem with it. I came across Andrea wax products a few years ago. Last year I could not find it at my local CVS or Walgreens any more, was very upset. I love my Legend!
I bought an Epilady Legend rechargeable epilator when my old Epilady finally died - after 17 years!I really like this epilator. It is faster and smoother than my old one, and it never pinches my skin, even not behind the knees. I use it all over - legs, arms, underarms and even some in the bikini.I tried some other epilators by other manufacturers that my friends bought, but none of them do as good a job for me as the Legend. The fact that it is rechargeable help a lot. I can use it corded too, when I forget to charge it. this epilator is great for travel too. When I charge it full (overnight), it has more than enough power to finish epilating my whole body, so I never have to lug around my charger when I go on vacation.I would highly recommend the Legend, and in fact, some of my friends who epilate got one to replace the ones they had. The downsides to this product, although few, may still be enough to deter you from it. It will take you several minutes to figure out the proper time to let the lotion sit as per the thickness of hair, but it's generally worth it (leg hair, pubic hair, arm hair, body hair are all different).Unfortunately, you have to be careful in how you apply this. This "oil" is really an incredibly, incredibly thick lotion, which makes it relatively impossible to spread evenly across your legs, waistline or "other" area. And the SMELL, good lord, don't buy that "baby oil" thing for one second... because once you pop the top, the chemicals just waft through the air.
