I own an Epicare and R.E.M. and thought I'd try this one because it is so much cheaper in price. It works great! It's a bit shorter than the R.E.M. and because of that it handles better for me. I love this product. I use it in the restrooms in between my classes when I am short of time. I have sensitive skin, but the reddness disappears after about 5 minutes. It does hurt at first, but then it is so much better than tweezing one hair at a time, or spending the time messing with waxing. Top to learn more

Cheap Complete Hair Removal
Pros:It arrived fast and as described.The black velvet cloth case was included so I'm not sure why some have commented it didn't come with.This product is super affordable and works just as good as the pricier competitors.I found it super easy to use. If uncertain there are videos online you can search.Safe to use as often as you want.Removes hair at the root so hair takes longer to grow back.Cons:Ouch factor:-I'm used to the way threading feels and this was still pretty painful the first couple of times. That is probably because it is so thorough.You cannot use it on eyebrows.-This product is made to take out large sections of hair not small areas so you cannot do the detailing required for brows.Can be time consuming-I thread my whole face and the first time it took me about 40 min to get as hair free as I wanted. Okay, so my product came in a box that was written in Japanese letterings but was made in China. Hmm... Not too sure why this product is advertised as a "Twist-N-Roll" tweezer, if there's nothing of that sort written on the box.Secondly, if you were expecting a black case for it, forget it.Basically I wasn't sent anything that was pictured or advertised as "Twist-N-Roll" tweezers... however, I forgive them. Why? Simply because the product that was sent works. It was under $7, so it wasn't even worth sending back. This actually works
I read all the reviews and bought the more expensive one. When I arrived, the package was damaged, but the product was still sort of usable. It worked but then I saw this version--much cheaper. I decided to send the other one back since it was somewhat broken and get this cheaper one.WELL--guess what? They were the SAME except for handle color (the carry bag was much nicer in the cheaper version!), and the results were very comparable (I felt the less expensive one did a slightly better job--but maybe I was just getting more used to it). I think it's a real kick to do--not much effort (works better when the hair gets a little longer than one day's growth). I am used to waxing and using an epilator, so to me this isn't painful. However, on peach fuzz, it IS painful. And still worth it. I would definitely recommend it. It does NOT replace my good Braun epilator, but it compliments it between times.I went ahead and ordered another one just to have on... Top to learn more
Better than expected
Although slightly different than the photo, this little gadget out-performs my previous one. The spring is finer, allowing it to better grip the hairs. People who say this doesn't work must not be using it right. It's not going to remove every single hair in one pass. I use it while watching TV, rolling it over and over the area until it's smooth. This tool works perfectly. A word of advice - when cleaning, don't pull apart too vigorously like I did my previous one. I stretched it so far the spring didn't return back to shape. Here's how it works: Bend the spring downwards into an inverted "U" as shown on the picture below, and place against unwanted facial hair. Roll or turn the handles inward & outward between your fingers in a continuous motion. You will feel a tingle as the hair is being lifted by the roots. Move it over the same area again & again, constantly rolling the handles between your fingers until all hair is removed. If you are not used to removing hair by the roots, you may experience some sensitivity while that hair is being lifted. Please ensure that the inverted "U" is constant while in use and that you go against the direction of hair growth. As with any hair removal method where hair is removed by the roots, your pores open to release the hair. Therefore we suggest that you cleanse and moisturize your skin after each use.

Does the job well
Pulling the hair from a dog's ears is not much fun for the dog or the human, but it's got to be done, and these forceps do the job well, particularly when combined with a product which helps the forceps grip the hair without slipping. It took a lot of guts to buy this after reading some of the one and two star writer reviews. However, after years of suffering from wax burns and irritated skin from every other form of removal...and because I could never hope to get the job done with teezers...I was willing to give it a try especially after seeing it in Oprah's favorite finds list.I almost rated it 4 stars because it is tricky to figure out how to use it but felt it deserved a 5 because it gets the job done.The second I found the REM in my mailbox, I ripped it out of the package (it was 11PM when I got my mail) and proceeded to experiment for the next hour and a half.Since then, I've ravaged my entire face, removing all of my man hair and some! I had spots above my eyebrows, on my cheeks, jaw line, unibrow, chin, under my ears--alllllll over the place! The coils grab onto my facial hair and rip, it's gone. I will continue to use it because it really does work. the chin and cheeks hurt less than that super sensitive area under the nose, that is a killer! But it's worth it to be hair free for awhile, especially for those of us who have a lot of embarrassing facial hair and don't want 5 o'clock stubble or red wax burn or to take hours in front of a mirror plucking.*edited, within a day it began to hurt less and boy does it work! You have to experiment to get it to work but it does work very well
I ordered this because I read about it in Oprah's O Magazine and they loved it. When I received it, I read the directions and even went to the REM website and watched a video of how to use it, but I couldn't get it to work for me. I almost gave up and thought about tossing it, but then I decided to experiment since there were other people who liked it.Here's what worked:1.) You don't necessarily have to bend the spring into a tight U shape as shown in the pictures (you can also use it bent just a little into a wide rounded U shape).2.) Lay the spring against your skin just below where you want to remove the hair.3.) As you slowly move the spring upward, twirl the right hand fingers clockwise and the left hand fingers counter-clockwise. If you twirl them the opposite way, no hairs get grabbed (this was the main thing I needed to figure out and the instructions didn't explain it).4.)
